Kash/Sanders: This has to be one of the first times the XXX title is defended in a singles bout, and it probably should be every so often, however not too much that it loses its uniqueness. Nice to see Kash keep the belt as he is what the division is all about with all the high flying and risk taking.

Storm/Nova: I like Nova and all but it is good to see some Lance Storm victories in the WWE for once. Storm is ever the opportunist and shows his smarts over the younger, less experienced Nova.

Test/Page: The KOTR tournament has always seemed to be used to help younger talent go over, and this is accomplished here with Test. The Horsemen interference makes it so DDP doesn't job cleanly, and I don't have a problem with that.

RVD/Taker: When will Taler ever learn, as it seems Sara is the reason he has lost yet again. Let her get her revenge after you pin RVD, wouldn't that be smarter? Even though RVD took a beating in this match, he doesn't seem to be seen as weaker, as everyone takes a beating from Taker. Plus, I got a hunch that RVD will be able to still show off tonight.

Sting/Flair: Nice to see these 2 WCW legends square off again. The RVD heel (well, more heel) turn came as a nice surprise as he was starting to become bigger then the rest of them anyways. Also, a very smart move, as this gives him a bye into the finals with more time to rest.

Booker/Chavez: The return of Siaki, who was my favorite of AWA and should be nice in SEX. I bet being in Houston would have the home crowd cheer for Booker and boo Chavez, but I'm happy it didn't. I never expect Chavez to win these matches, but somehow he always can come out on top, and is starting quite a successful IC title reign.

Storm/Test: Either way you went it would have been good. I was expecting a Test win for a Horsemen showdown, especially after what RVD did to Flair, but the Storm win didn't disappoint.

Shane/3MW: It seems that with the shirt Shane is wearing he is actuallly saying something about himself. Not too happy to see Shane go as he is by far the best McMahon, while Steph is probably the second to last (sorry Linda) as far as on screen goes. Nice use of Savage to help win the match, and Hardedge makes his presence felt with the Click Click Boom.

Storm/RVD: Both are good workers so it must have been a good match, although I question the pairing a little bit with Storm in there. RVD had to win as Storm was definately not ready for the title shot, and hopefully RVD will take it at Vengeance.

Rock/Steiner: Not a big fan of Steiner's, but glad to see him win as now RVD can take the title off of him at Vengeance. Steiner just plain old outpowered Rock and there was nothing he could do about it.
